day ended with those italian meatballs they recommend...hmmm...not so sure about that one guys...would modify a bit...a little extra wine never hurts...thickened sauce with cornstarch which helped...
nice salad with gorgonzola, a few dried cranberries, sliced pear and balsamic....a little glass of red wine (i had some extra points from the day believe it or not :))
i had the hostess cupcakes for dessert (1 pt) and i don't care that you can't pronounce the ingredients...they were yummy....
tmo will do oatmeal again. started reading that "you on a diet" book. a friend let me borrow it. it's soooo interesting. fascinating how the body works to process food, etc. one principle was to start the day with fiber...gives your body something to work on for the morning...
if you're interested i'll share little pieces of what i learn.
my "last chance" video arrives in a few days. i told mark and he said, "two words honey...tae bo." ...but THIS is different!
night ladies. looking forward to tmo. so far so good!

Yes please...share what you learn from Dr. Oz.
ReplyDeleteThe oatmeal you eat...plain or flavored? Instant or long cook? Steel-cut or not?
What is the "last chance" video?
plain. instant. looked at the regular vs. instant and in my mind they had same nutriotional value. i've had steel cut but have no idea what that really means just know it felt like i was eating wood...mmm...yummy. not the way to start the morning.
ReplyDeletelast chance video is from the biggest loser. jillian michaels. it's a six wk thing. day one you do cardio, day 2 weights, etc. etc. sounded like it might help break the treadmill monotany. ordered from amazon. $10 incl. shipping.
happy friday! how did your meeting with your trainer go?
Yes do share. We enjoy all tips. Let us know about the video too. I think I'll do my 30 day shred today - my calves are sore today for the intensity on the elliptical yesterday I think.
ReplyDeleteOff to eat my oatmeal too. Instant & regular here too. I do add 1 tsp sugar and some blueberries.
